What is FIRST?

FIRST Stands for:     For Inspiration, Recognition, Science, and Technology.

This means FIRST is training high school and middle school students to be the next generation of scientists, engineers, designers, inventors, and members of other disciplines of science.

The ultimate goal of FIRST is to inspire students to pursue careers in science and technology related fields.

FIRST has four different levels of competition.  These are:

1. Jr. FIRST Lego League - This group is for ages 6 through 10.  More Info...

3. FIRST Tech Challenge(This is where we are competing).  This competition is for grades 7 through 12.  More Info...

4. FIRST Robotics Competition.  This competition is for high school students.  The robot can by 150 lbs. and can be up to 5 feet tall.  More Info...
